Preparation and care
Before treatment
- Come without make-up if possible or remove it before injections.
- Avoid taking anticoagulants if possible
- Avoid alcohol
After treatment
- Apply a little ice
- Use post-injection care products, which may be recommended depending on the areas treated.
- Do not engage in physical activity and drink alcohol for 24 hours
Maintenance care
Treatment with BelkyraTM does not usually require maintenance care. 2 to 4 treatments at eight-week intervals may be required to achieve the desired results.

Is it safe?
Belkyra injections are considered a safe treatment if performed by a qualified treating professional. Side effects may include swelling, redness, bruising, temporary induration of the treated area, tingling or itching at the injection site. Cold compresses can be used to alleviate these effects. Symptoms are harmless and disappear spontaneously within a few days.
Is it painful?
This treatment may cause a sensation of heat or burning during the injection process. A cold compress can be applied to the treatment area to minimize discomfort.
How long do the results last?
Results are visible from the very first treatment. However, for best results, we recommend 2 to 4 treatments at intervals of 8 weeks or more. The final result is permanent.
