Rejuvenation treatment

TwinLight™ fractional laser skin rejuvenation

TwinLight™ fractional laser rejuvenation is Fotona’s revolutionary treatment where laser light precisely targets skin imperfections, without touching the surrounding healthy skin. The heat from the laser energy also stimulates the production of new collagen in the dermis, and the surrounding untreated skin helps speed up the smoothing process.

Skin resurfacing and skin resurfacing treatments can be performed either ablatively with an Er:YAG laser, or non-ablatively with an Nd:YAG laser, depending on the aesthetic result targeted by the patient and practitioner. In addition, ablative and non-ablative treatments can be combined in a comprehensive anti-aging treatment, such as Fotona’s TwinLight™ fractional resurfacing system.

After treatment

Temporary side effects may occur. Redness, a possible transient bluish reaction, swelling for 24 to 48 hours, tingling, and a sensation of warmth lasting about an hour are among the usual responses. Although these reactions are generally temporary, any persistent concerns should be discussed with the healthcare professional in charge of treatment.

Immediate results after laser skin rejuvenation treatment at Clinique SkinIN, visibly treated facial and neck skin.

This technique consists of three stages

  1. Treatment

an nd:YAG beam passes twice along the surface. The first pass exerts a short stimulus on the skin, while the second pass penetrates the tissue, heating and treating the skin with FRAC3® for effective fractionated treatment therapy.

  2. Fractional therapy

A fractional Er:YAG laser ablates older, worn skin. The precise micro-incised channels will be replaced by firmer, healthier new tissue to form the new skin.

  3. Exfoliation

The skin is ablated with a total beam of Er:YAG light, which refines the treatment and eliminates superficial imperfections.
