Platelet-rich plasma
Platelet-Rich Plasma, commonly known as PRP, is obtained from a blood sample taken from the patient.
The sample is then centrifuged to separate its various components.
The platelet-enriched layer is extracted, and used for injection.
Platelet-rich plasma injections stimulate natural tissue regeneration processes, promoting collagen and elastin production.
An injection of platelet-rich plasma is a treatment indicated for those wishing to rejuvenate and beautify the skin of the face, décolleté and/or back of the hands.
Platelet-rich plasma is also indicated for hair loss.

Questions
PRP injection is a medical procedure that uses Platelet Rich Plasma, taken from the patient’s own blood, to stimulate tissue regeneration.
It can be beneficial for conditions such as tendonitis, osteoarthritis, baldness, wrinkles and scarring.
The process begins with a standard blood test, usually taken from the patient’s arm.
The blood is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the various components, and the platelet-rich layer is extracted for use in the injection.
Potential benefits of PRP injection include promoting natural healing, reducing pain and inflammation, improving skin and hair quality, while being a non-surgical option.
Potential side effects are generally minor and temporary, such as redness, slight swelling or bruising. Serious risks are rare. However, it is essential to discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professional before undergoing PRP injection. In the event of any unusual reaction, it is advisable to consult a physician immediately.
